Get to know our locally sourced pheasant, which embodies the flavour and quality Dierendonck is known for. The meat of our pheasants is light brown in colour and lean, making it a perfect match for numerous side dishes, such as apple, orange, chicory, green cabbage and even cider.
What really sets our pheasant apart is its unique game flavour. Our pheasants free-range in the wild and feed on berries and herbs, resulting in a fine, herbaceous, aromatic flavour that reflects the Belgian terroir. The meat is succulent, elevating any meal into a gourmet feast.
- Preheat oven to 200°C.
Brown in the pan and then cook for 35min. Leave to cook gently in a pot with a lid on the fire, or in the oven at 180°C.
- To avoid drying out, stir regularly with your own cooking liquid. You can always add a Petit Suisse or some cream.
