FAQ

HOW DOES HOME DELIVERY OF MEAT WORK?

It may sound a bit unusual, but thanks to a well-thought-out logistics system, it is perfectly possible. We have chosen to vacuum-pack each cut of meat, just as we regularly do in our coastal shops. This allows the meat to stay fresh for longer. Vacuum-packed meat can be safely stored for up to a week, or even 10 days, provided it is kept refrigerated.

The transport of our meat has also been carefully considered. Each order is neatly packed and delivered to your home using refrigerated transport.

WHAT DOES IT COST?

Orders over €150 are delivered free of charge.
For orders under €150, a contribution to delivery costs of €15 is charged.

HOW DO WE COMMUNICATE AFTER AN ORDER IS PLACED?

After placing your order, you will automatically receive an order confirmation email. The day before delivery, you will receive a reminder email from our transport partner DPD Fresh. On the day of delivery, they will send you a 2-hour delivery time window in the morning.

IS A SECOND DELIVERY ATTEMPT POSSIBLE?

In case of necessity, a second delivery attempt can be scheduled. After an unsuccessful delivery, your parcel is returned to a refrigerated depot and offered again the next working day. As our meat is freshly cut and packaged on the day of shipment, we can guarantee optimal quality and freshness. We therefore strongly prefer delivery the day after shipment. Please choose your delivery date carefully.
(Unfortunately, delivery to neighbours is not possible.)

HOW SHOULD YOU STORE THE MEAT AFTER RECEIVING IT?

Vacuum-packed meat must always be stored refrigerated. Keep the meat in the refrigerator at all times. Before preparing it, remove the meat from the fridge and from its packaging. Allow the meat to rest for approximately 15 minutes before cooking, frying or grilling.
