Beef Shank or onglet is a unique piece of beef that is attached to the midriff coarse in texture and super powerful in flavour because of the many blood in it and still it is called a forgotten piece of meat.
It is also often called butcher's steak in Flanders because the butcher used to keep it for himself.
Onglet has a very unique flavour, because it is located between the intestines of the beef.
