Ingredients

For 2 people

  • 200g spaghetti

  • 50g Nduja

  • 1 can chopped tomatoes

  • 2 cloves garlic

  • 1 small onion, finely chopped

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 50g Parmesa n cheese

  • Handful of fresh basil

  • Salt & pepper

Meet our 'Nduja', a unique and flavorful specialty from sunny Calabria (Italy).

This dried, spreadable sausage is made from the Menapian pig, following an authentic recipe from Dierendonck, a name synonymous with craftsmanship and quality.

Thanks to the addition of chili peppers to the pork, it offers a spicy kick.

 

Preparation

  • Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package.
  • Heat the olive oil in a pan and gently fry the onion and garlic.
  • Add the Nduja (removed from its casing) and let it melt.
    Stir well.
  • Add the chopped tomatoes and let the sauce simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Season with salt and pepper.
  • Add the pasta and mix well.
  • Serve in deep plates.

Finishing touch


Garnish the pasta with grated Parmesan cheese and a few fresh basil leaves.
